Bruno thinks he is a big dog, but the truth is, he isn't quite 9lbs. He is being fostered with some big dogs and he runs the show. Bruno tells us that he would like to maintain his current lifestyle once he finds his forever, loving home. After all, he is pretty lucky to be here with us. He was found dodging traffic in the middle of a very busy intersection. Now, back to his current lifestyle. He currently gets to relax on the couch, play with some really fun furry foster siblings and get visited daily by all the neighborhood kids. Oh, and best of all, he gets to sleep and share a pillow with his foster dad! We estimate Bruno to be about 5-6 months. He is a bundle of joy and happiness, you can feel it when you hold him. Bruno will need to be tested with cats but we think he will look at them as his playmates! Bruno is current on his shots, has been sterilized and is micro-chipped. He is ready for his forever home. His adoption fee is $200

Slant~~Adopted!!!!
Slant…Shepard/retriever mix. 10 months old. male
Meet Slant! Slant and his three siblings are the happiest pups on the planet. They haven't had the greatest beginning but they are loving life now. Slant and his siblings were in a very difficult situation. To put it bluntly, their owner did not want them. Slant spent his days and nights barricaded in a car port. When Slant finally came into our foster care, we knew he was going to be a very, very sweet boy. He still has moments of timidness, but he is wagging his tail more and more. We are starting to learn more about Slant. He got his name because his face is slanted. Maybe it is because he slept for months and months on the hard concrete? Those days are gone! Slant loves to play on the grass and run with the other dogs. He has the coolest markings on his tongue. Since his is always smiling, his tongue is always hanging out. There is no doubt that Slant will make a wonderful pet. He is great with kids and other dogs. He also loves to go in and out of the doggie door. He will need basic training and will need to be introduced to cats. Also available for adoption are his siblings; Rusty & Katrina. Check them out too

Spock and Spence
The story of Spock & Spence… These boys were left to fend for themselves in an abandoned house for three weeks. Their owner left them with no food or water in an enclosed yard. We later learned that not only were the dogs hungry, thirsty and terribly frightened - one of them was virtually blind. When we tired to lure them from underneath the porch, it became evident that Spock, whom we have affectionately named; could not see.
Spock and Spence came into the care of loving hands. The big ugly ticks that were embedded in their bodies went away, the bones that poked out disappeared. New to their lives were hugs, consistent meals and a cozy place to sleep. And Spock - well, he can see now. He used to balance himself on his hind legs to be able to see just a little bit. Now, he can see on all four! Spock has recovered from eye-lid surgery and is very happy with his new view on life.
